As we settle into this getting back into school season, I wanted to give you a few updates on what our office is doing to continue to keep you, and your children safe. The American Academy of Pediatrics is recommending that all well visits and vaccinations be kept on schedule. We have given more time for well visits to give more time for deep cleaning in between patients.
We are asking that parents call when they arrive in the parking lot so we can ensure your room is ready before having you come up to the office. We are doing our best to minimize interactions between patients and families.
Please note, we are asking questions of all patients and families prior to your visit. This includes asking about cough, fever, runny nose, exposure to COVID-19. We ask these questions to better prepare for your visit, and to make sure proper precautions can be taken including wearing the correct and protective equipment. We are still seeing sick visits, and are here for you during this back to school season!
The Texas Medical Board released a statement earlier this month that requires all office staff, and all caregivers and patients over the age of two to wear a mask while in the office. We are reminding parents of this new rule when scheduling appointments, and ask for you to be patient with us as we navigate through this with you.
Dr. Stacey Gibson-Hull founded SGH Pediatrics as a solopractioner. The practice was founded upon the principle of providing excellent care to children, adolescents and their families. It is our goal to maintain a small family-oriented office environment and meet the needs of each patient and family.
Our practice offers comprehensive care from infancy to young adulthood. Our services are designed to ensure the healthy development of each child by:
Screening for health conditions
Administering immunizations against common illnesses
Counseling parents on nutrition, safety, and other important topics
Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses
Whether it’s your child’s first visit, or just a routine well-child checkup, we strive to make sure you and your child are always comfortable and informed. We take the time to talk with parents and care givers to help you understand your child’s needs, and we equip you with the knowledge necessary for promoting a lifetime of optimal health and wellness.
To help you get acquainted with our practice, we have provided important information you need on our website. Please browse these pages to learn more about Dr. Stacey Gibson-Hull, services provided, office details, commonly asked questions, new patient forms and to request an appointment.
We believe that exceptional care is obtained when there is an on-going relationship between the doctor, staff, patient and family. We want to be partners in your child’s healthcare. We achieve this goal by listening to your questions and concerns, and educating you on how to promote a healthy lifestyle for the entire family.
When you choose SGH Pediatrics, you can feel confident that you are teaming with a knowledgeable, compassionate physician and staff who have dedicated their careers to child-focused healthcare. Please do not hesitate to contact our office with questions or concerns.
Vaccines are the safest way to protect you, your children and your community from a long list of serious and potentially life-threatening illnesses.
For the convenience of our patients, we schedule visits by appointment only. SGH Pediatrics offers convenient office hours and we are accepting new patients.
There is nothing more exciting and potentially overwhelming as finding your child's first physician. There are so many questions and concerns to discuss with your pediatrician.
